This is the Village of Painted Post Planning Board Checklist for Site Plan Requirements.
Area Maps Showing:
That portion of applicant's property under consideration for development
A copy of the Village of Painted Post Zoning Map locating the property
A copy of the Village of Painted Post Flood Boundary and Floodway Map locating the property, if applicable
A copy of map of site topography (US Geological Survey topographic map)
A copy of the Steuben County Soils Map locating the property if general grade exceeds 15% or portions of the site have susceptibility to erosion, flooding, or ponding
A site development map, generally to scale, showing all proposed structures and improvements. An aerial photograph depicting vegetation, hedgerows, water bodies, and other features of the site.
Concise description of the nature of the applicant's business.
Site Plan To Include:
Title of drawing, including name and address of applicant
North point, scale and date
Boundaries of project plotted to scale of not more than 100 feet to 1 inch on survey map prepared by a New York licensed surveyor
Existing natural features such as watercourses, water bodies, wetlands, drainage ways, wooded areas, and individual large trees, one hundred year flood hazard areas, the aquifer and watershed tributary area. Features to be retained should be noted
Existing and proposed contours at intervals of not more than 2 feet contour intervals
Location of proposed land uses and their areas in acres
Location of, proposed use of, and height of all buildings
Location of all existing or proposed site improvements, including streets, drains, culverts, retaining walls, fences, easements, whether public or private
Description of sewage disposal and water systems and location of such facilities
Location and proposed development of buffer areas and other landscaping
Delineation of the various residential areas, if applicable, indicating for each area its general extent, description and composition of dwelling unit type, and calculation of the residential density indwelling units per gross acre for each such area
Location of all parking and truck loading areas, with access and egress drives thereto
Location, design and size of all signs and lighting facilities
Grading, erosion, and sediment control
Location and design for storm water management facilities
Description of hazardous materials to be used or stored on site and the location of such storage facilities
Description and methods and location for disposal of construction materials.
